Claudia S. Murray is an award-winning director, writer, and documentary producer. Forged in the fires of constitutional law and politics, she emerged from the flames with a thirst for creating.
After moving to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy and TV writing, Claudia fell quickly in love with filmmaking. She directed her first film, Gringa, after co-writing the script and aching to ensure the authentic portrayal of her Cuban-American heritage.
Her documentary work reflects her dedication to truth and justice and works well to counterbalance the whimsy and comedy of her narrative style.
Claudia's work has screened in theaters around the country -- including TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood -- and has won numerous audience and jury awards. She is a featured director in NALIP's "Latinx Directors You Should Know" series.
She lives in Atlanta with her best friend and travel buddy, a 4lb. Yorkie named Khali.
